After three days of workshops and discussions, our 3rd annual meeting came to an end. We were very excited to meet each other in person once again and to present our PhD projects. Thanks to the organisers for making this possible!

2021 was an intense and exciting year for us at @SAND_ITN. Throughout all the year we attended many seminars and workshops. In October we finally met in person for the 2nd annual meeting in Munich. It was a successful meeting with keynote lectures and talks by our PhD students.

Ciao, my name is Paulien 👋. I'm from The Netherlands 🇳🇱 and currently living in Milan, Italy 🇮🇹 for my PhD. In my project I'm investigating the role of the SNARE protein Snap29 in neurodegenerative diseases using the very cool model organism, Drosophila melanogaster 🐝🧬.
