Our hearts are heavy today for 19-year-old Pvt. Isabella Gonzales of Carrollton, Texas. This brave young soldier was killed Friday in Iranian missile and drone attacks on a U.S. base in Jordan.

At just 19, she selflessly answered the call to defend our nation. Her courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Many years have passed since the Vietnam War, but the images and actions of Jane Fonda sitting on that anti-aircraft gun in Hanoi remain burned into the memory of millions of Americans — especially those who served, fought, and lost loved ones in that conflict.
She is still an American traitor in my book. Her decision to pose with enemy forces while American POWs were being tortured in the very same city was a betrayal that can never be washed away with time, apologies, or Hollywood awards.
Some things aren’t forgiven just because decades go by. Loyalty to your country during wartime matters.
