My baby girl received the Bihu gift of Chief Minister @himantabiswa sir whom she calls himanto mama.
Thank you so much sir for the respect & affection that you shower upon the employees.
We got our appointment solely based on merit and it has been possible only because of him.
Met a senior health worker who's eagerly waiting for 8th pay commission salary hike.
He is very much worried about retirement too. OPS is his dream.
He says UPS is worse than NPS as it allows no withdrawal from accumulated corpus.
Which one is actually better? NPS or UPS?
Stock Market has the potential to let you earn 6 months salary in a day.
The problem is you want to increase it to 1 year's salary on the same day.
Read it again. You will understand in a better way.
Whenever I ask people to invest in Nifty, Sensex, they are not easily convinced.
They would even ask questions like why negative return for so long.
The same people wouldn't mind paying a bribe of 3 Lac on a promised loan of 30 Lac.
It's just on a promised loan, authenticity!
@DrMRonFIRE Glad that you have finally decided to come back to the family. Service is not everything in Life but financial literacy is really needed for everyone.
I started my first job at a salary of Rs 26000 and resigned recently at a salary of Rs 62000.
The salary growth trajectory wasn't bad as employer also provided quarter, separate travelling & meal allowances.
No water bill, no electricity bill initially but at some point they deducted fixed Rs 300 for the same.
They didn't cover us in PF for the initial few years except those who started or were getting less salaries below Rs 15000.
My financial literacy was so abysmal until 2018 that I never had any financial planning at all. We were mildly hit by demonetization.
I was a good spender since the internship days, don't know even now here all my stipend flew away.
Scholarships did take care of some needful expenses during the college days though.
Luckily I wasn't working in the city, else savings would have also probably dried up.
The point of mentioning on this aspect was that lack of financial awareness often deprives you or makes you a victim.
It was in 2019 that I got introduced to the financial world, the Stock Market trading and Investing.
Then I came to know about the Mutual Funds, ELSS, NSC, EPF, NPS etc.
At some point, I came to know that we were all eligible for EPF but the high salary drawers were unjustly deprived.
I raised the issue with the state official team with a subtle hint of approaching PF commissioner if we were still not covered under EPF.
To my pleasant surprise, it was implemented immediately because they knew that it was due since the very beginning.
Just that nobody noticed or was financially literate enough to bring the changes in the greater interest of everyone.
I really want each and everyone of you to be financially literate. Otherwise, you will feel cheated or victimized at some point.
Our course curriculum have not taught us even basic finance unfortunately. Let me know if I can help you in your financial planning!
Doctor, what fruits are to be avoided in pregnancy?
I am often asked this question by pregnant women to verify whether their mother in laws were correct.
Well, Papaya and Pineapple are usually avoided.
Raw or unripe papaya is to be strictly avoided. Pineapple too. Here's why👇
Nothing can be more original than the raw, unscripted video content.
Best wishes for the new original content rewards program.
Be positive. Be valuable. Let's rise and shine together.
A gynaecologist friend of mine works at Nagaon in Assam.
A young woman came to her OPD in the 9th month and her USG report showed the weight of the foetus less than 2 kg.
When she checked the MCP card and asked the ASHA why such less weight gain in the entire pregnancy period.
She was shocked to hear the answer. The mother-in-law of the pregnant lady advised her not to take the medications advised by the Doctor including IFA, calcium.
She was really furious and called the mother-in-law. She yelled at her in the OPD and asked if she's a super specialist to override Doctors advice.
When she wanted to take signature for high risk consent , the mother-in-law had to give thumb impression because she doesn't know how to sign.
Is it a common thing in rural areas? Why the mother-in-law still so dominating to the extent of harming two lives?
I called up only one teacher on #TeachersDay and that's Mr. Chidananda Baruah sir.
He taught us Biology in JNV Darrang and currently posted in Dibrugarh.
I was a little damn care and habitual rule-breaker and sir would funnily call me chota Don.
Yesterday I transferred him some amount again for helping the flood victims of his village, obviously after wishing him teacher's day.
Once an unsocial element in school, now leading social causes as a committed social activist.
Sir must be very proud. The pic uploaded here was on his request during the silver jubilee program.
I wanted to help my ex girlfriend too because she was from Sonari, another worse affected area but her number is temporarily unavailable.
Let me know how your teachers' day went. If you had any memories or spoke to any of your favorite teachers!
Our princess dressed like a Teacher and gifted greetings to her teachers.
I was with her until the program was over. I'm happy she could get friendly with teachers in spite of joining school recently.
The kids of government service holders need to learn better adjustments.
How should a teacher respond to the girls of class 8 consuming gutkha inside classroom while the lady teacher finds it difficult to tolerate the smell?
During our times, we would hide the marbles if we happen to see the teacher anywhere nearby our home or on the road.
You may call me orthodox but I just can't digest the fact that young school girls are purchasing gutkha openly and consuming it publicly.
Where's the solution? Who's responsible for this new addiction? Where from they get money to buy gutkha?
Are parents failing or the youths fooling their parents? Or the government isn't doing enough to ban the pan masala?
Sometimes we should give pleasant surprises to our children.
Her mom went to buy dress for herself for the teachers day program.
She accompanied her mother while I was keeping the little one.
They came with this beautiful Mekhela Sador and our baby girl was happy & excited.
