What is TweepCred?
TweepCred is an invisible reputation score (0–100) assigned to every account on X to determine its credibility and influence. It is based on a version of Google's PageRank algorithm. (LD: SO a score of 48 would seemingly indicate my account is neither credible nor of influence. REALLY?? AYFKM??)

Trust Rating: It acts as a "social credit score" that tells the algorithm whether to distribute your posts or bury them. (LD: Social Credit Score?? Welcome to the CCP-style oversight here at @X. SOUNDS LIKE CENSORSHIP. Thanks for very little!!)

The 65 Threshold: A score of 65 is critical. If your score is below 65, the algorithm significantly throttles your reach, often only considering about 3 of your tweets for distribution to others' feeds. (Welcome to CCP Style CENSORSHIP)

Why is your score 48?
A score of 48 is considered low, meaning the account's visibility is currently restricted. Common factors that lower this score include:

1. Low Follower-to-Following Ratio: Following many more people than follow you back can trigger a penalty. (My followers are 3x the number of those whom I follow. I thought the platform wants engagement. Should I unfollow longtime supporters?)

2. Engagement Debt: If your past tweets received very little engagement (likes, replies, or profile clicks), the system assigns negative weight to your account. (LD: I have posts and videos with tens of thousands of individuals engaging)

3. Account Age: Newer accounts (less than 30 days old) naturally have lower scores. (ALSO NO)

4. Negative Signals: Getting blocked, muted, or reported by other users heavily tanks your reputation. (Really? Tell me more. Am I subject to 'attack' so to speak by those engaged in The Swamp??)

How to improve it
To move above the 65 threshold and unlock full distribution, you can:
Increase Engagement: Reply to every comment on your tweets. High engagement signals that your content is valuable. (LD: I DO!!)

X Premium (Blue): Subscribing to X Premium provides an immediate boost to your TweepCred (+4 to +16 points). (So pay for it)

Quality Interactions: Interact with high-quality, verified accounts in your niche rather than spammy or low-authority ones. (LD: I DO)

Consistent Posting: Aim for at least one post per day to show you are an active, reliable member of the platform. (LD: I DO)

Analyze your current follower-to-following ratio.
Draft engaging content designed to boost interactions.
