I agree. For some reason only anime gets a pass for this. Any other form of media there's outrage even drawn media like comics but for some reason is anime supposed to be different.

I love anime but we have to stop pretending like sexualising kids is normal or quirky. Its nasty

[oneayaitch | #1 ASGORE HATER | 🌧️ pilled @saiiteru]

the whole lolicon discourse basically just boils down to this:

yes they're just drawings and no actual children are being harmed but the fact that shit that's obviously styled to look like a child is what gets u goin and you aggressively try to paint it as normal is weird asf

The UK equivalent of this was being forced to read and analyse love poems as well as Romeo & Juliet. Boys are never going to be interested in that stuff 90% of the time. UK English class doesn't appeal to boys at all either.

[The Little Platoon @PlatoonPod]

I read a lot as a boy, and fancy I still read quite a bit today.

The first book I remember obsessing over in lower school was about dinosaurs. I read it several times a week.

I progressed to Narnia, Harry Potter, Treasure Island, Artemis Fowl, War of the Worlds, His Dark Materials, Sherlock Holmes, Day of the Triffids, a bunch of Arthur C Clarke, The Hitch Hiker's Guide, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and so on.

None of this was on the reading list, which at high school seemed to consist, in the main, of lesbian poets— taught by a woman who was much better at being a lesbian than she was at being a poet.

My lower and middle schools also decided - I do not know if they still do this - to make it competitive. Students were assigned a "reading age," and naturally, being a boy, I wanted to trounce the opposition.

Jayne Eyre is indeed a masterpiece. Absolutely nothing could have convinced me, then, to give a shit. Nor, frankly, could it now.

Boys and girls are different. If you want boys to read, don't give them Jayne Eyre, or any of the interminably solipsistic, introspective guff that makes girls think they're interesting.

Boys need fantasy, science fiction, the external over the internal world — and, yes, a bit of "self-actualisation with a weapon".

This is better and healthier than self-actualisation at the end of a werewolf's dick, which seems to make up the bulk of women's publishing today.

Failing this, boys will continue to find their thrills in videogames, which have not yet been entirely ruined by women.

@red939832 @No1FanOfSylphie Yeah. I'm aware that it caused controversy when it dropped in the light novel too but everyone overrating it as the best arc in the whole series (bogus). I genuinely can't stand it man it just felt so random and out of place.

[Conrad Bastable @ConradBastable]

Every year we now do YA book gender discourse.

While it's true that publishers abandoned boys, they also abandoned kids! Adults are 75% of YA readers. YA & fantasy both now serve to launder romance content to adult women, exploiting perceived social status deltas.

[The Citizen's Gatekeeper @WillHavePeace]

The red pills are going to hit the Alpha boys harder than anyone before them.

Imagine being psychologically tortured for your entire K-12 life and then learning the truth.

Western men have swung right and they'll keep swinging right for another 20 years.

If I get stuck in bleach, what are the odds I end up a rukongai bum rather than a captain with a bankai? I don't like those odds

[Anime Folks @Anime_folks]

What button are you pressing? 🤔

[魂Tamashi @SBTamashi]

@nekoexe_ This is how I feel about all lolis personally. They're cute kind of like little siblings or children but attractive and hot? Heyal nah

[𝔹𝕣𝕠𝕕𝕪 @DonatoEnjoyer]

I think the whole “ai is bad for the environment” and “ai is stupid and enabling our children” arguments have kinda made people forget the biggest reason to be anti-ai.

It’s plagiarism. It’s theft. That’s how it works. It works by stealing.

[魂Tamashi @SBTamashi]

@PoltFan69 Yeah I actually detest that. It aggravates me so much when I'm reading a manga and the language changes randomly. "Locking in" and "insane aura" frequently popping up and it makes me feel sick. Please give the faithful translation even if it doesn't translate e.g (thieving cat).

[formalcatattire @formalcatattire]

Men want heroic stories. Women, typically aren’t drawn to those stories, and gravitate toward romance. I had great male teachers, who were veterans. They would tell war stories in class. I was mesmerized. My female classmates were bored to tears. The feminine adventure is being sought after in romance. Men want to be the hero who saves the day and makes a great sacrifice. Or fights against impossible odds. Men and women are different, we should appreciate it rather than continually fight against our better natures

[Max @minordissent]

Once you understand that foids have a biological, instinctual, and completely unconscious drive to 1) sniff out masculinity and tame it and 2) sniff out weakness and protect it, almost everything about their politics immediately makes sense.

And once you understand that there is an evolutionary mismatch occuring, where these instinctual drives evolved for managing things at the micro level (family and community) but are being applied at the macro level (global politics and society) you also realize that letting them do this unabated will destroy all of civilization.

[Lisa @lisavsworld]

"You have men claiming they’re looking
For a wife meanwhile f*cking 5 women who would all gladly be his wife"

You cannot be promiscuous and complain about how men/women are ruining the world. You cannot be promiscuous and then complain about marriage and fertility rates. You are the maker of your own doom.

If you're promiscuous and genuinely do not care about marriage and fertility? Then at least you are intellectually consistent.

[魂Tamashi @SBTamashi]

Nah bro I'm with ravenclaw because they got the most aura. Wtf does a common cold (Hufflepuff) and a snake have on me?

[TOBI 𖣂 @Tboi_01]

I still wonder why y'all choose Nami over Robin

[魂Tamashi @SBTamashi]

I do. I'm an eye for an eye type guy. She should've been executed. There is no redeeming this. Proven multiple times later in the story by causing chaos, death and disarray by being a vengeful bitch. There was a very easy solution to this.

Eren didn't fail anything. He created a new world before civilisation destroyed itself thousands of years into the future. Imagine blaming Tutankhamun for world war 2😭 don't make no damn sense.

[Chima✞ @Heischima]

Eren and Light Yagami both failed to create a new world, but Lelouch actually succeeded in creating a better one. That’s why he’s the greatest MC of all time.

The main reason the black community is so dysfunctional is that it’s a matriarchy.

All the ills of black American culture are downstream from black women, who are the main ones raising and influencing black children.

You’d think black people could connect the dots, but nope. They love electing the same people who torment our homes to public office, so they can torment everyone else.

If anything, black people should want to see this country prosper. We have no historical lineage to Roman, Greek, or East Asian empires like other groups do. America is our historical empire.

Black men fought and died in almost every American war. Our ancestors’ blood, sweat, and tears are deeply entrenched in this country’s soil. If you think Africa is our “homeland,” wait until you find out what they think about black Americans. America is the only country that could give us the opportunities we have today.

Despite slavery and Jim Crow, our ancestors fought like hell to give us the freedoms we have today. Finally in 2020, we got the political capital we’d been begging for. And what did we do?

BLM activists stole the money they raised, YN culture has taken over, black women continue to wreck our homes, and blacks continue electing the same people creating the problems.

At a certain point, black people need to wake up and cut the identity politics. The black women and black male upholders of the matriarchy that you all continue to elect will do nothing for you. The white liberals that claim to support you also don’t care about you.

Stop voting for a face and start voting for policies that will actually make your lives better.

[魂Tamashi @SBTamashi]

@kondak321 Its saber. She quite literally had to wait at the end of eternity for shirou in Avalon. Everyone else has been commuted FAR less than eternity.

[Revy the Tiefling @RevytheTiefling]

Men are incredible and amazing to me.

This is a you problem for trying to change a male space.

Stay gatekept, bitch.

It’s taken centuries to convince the world that women are actually capable rational creatures, only for one single generation of insufferable millennial women to come along and debunk it all for us.
