@LouStagner How would you be able to enforce what’s in a divot vs what’s not? What about a healed divot? What if it’s just sitting down a little in a grass imperfection? Would you have to confirm with your playing competitors before taking relief?
@LouStagner It’s not enforceable IMO. You’ll have everyone saying their ball is in a divot of some kind (partially healed, etc.). It would then being like playing lift-clean-place permanently. I’m good with playing it down.
Take 4 minutes out of your day and watch this. Ben was one of the best Ams in the world, won early in his career, but has struggled since.
I’ll always love the opportunity opposite-field events present for players like Ben.
@acaseofthegolf1 Just off the top of your head, do you notice the 4 Monday qualifiers each week today make the cut at a higher % than they used to 3, 5, 10+ years ago?
On his 12th hole of the second round, Carson Young made a Quad. He was +3 at the time, near the bottom of the leaderboard.
He played the last 42 holes...in 15 under. My lord.
My buddy @SBehrJr’s mom has a piece of art in a National billboard contest! If you have 30 seconds please click here and vote for her piece (it’s the one that says Janie Behr)

@LoveUSA521@acaseofthegolf1 I see where you are coming from, but you are implying that the players’ resumes are scrapped and the Combine is everything, which isn’t the case. A lot of the top projected draft picks don’t even do much at the Combine since their position is secure (a result of their success)
@LoveUSA521@acaseofthegolf1 Guys who have success in college ⚾️ 🏀 🏈 are the ones that go 1st round and make it to the next level based on their previous success. In golf prior to PGA Tour U, this was not happening. The slate was wiped clean after a player graduated college, even if they were 1st team AA
@ZackFisch3@acaseofthegolf1@middlebrooks Guys who get drafted 1st round almost always make it to the Majors in baseball due to the system in place. They receive top $ contracts due to their high school / college success and teams paying for them want to make sure they get a chance in majors.

@yungduch92@spkillen8@darrenrovell@BryanPtak I think “One of Us” is not in regards to his bank account or PGA Tour success. It is in reference to taking a commercial flight at 6:45am, which he may never do again (he’ll fly private).
