Written Consent: If you sell after 8 yrs, you must still obtain written consent from the municipality. 
Important Warning:
Renting is Prohibited: Renting out an RDP house for profit is strictly illegal at any time & can lead to losing the home.
Scam Risks: Avoid "informal" sales where the title deed is not transferred. Without a legal transfer, the house still legally belongs to the original owner, leaving the buyer with no legal protection.
