@GO_TIP Q5 When I group students I like to include students of all strengths in one groups so that they can help each other gain a better understanding of the mathematics. They gain more helping each other than me helping them individually #mathsense
@GO_TIP A4 My favorite math strategy or skill to teach students is the ability to make connections and notice patterns. This is a skill they will need throughout their mathematics career. I do this mostly through investigations when they develop their own understanding #mathsense
@GO_TIP A3 One of my favorite digital tools to use is desmos. It is a great software to use when graphing functions, and investigating characteristics of functions. I used desmos this semester to help students identify different characteristics of inverse functions. #mathsense
@GO_TIP A2 Even though I don't teach multiplying and dividing, I like providing students with multiple strategies so that they can pick to use the one that makes sense to them. Teaching Multiple strategies also give students an understanding beyond just one method #mathsense
@GO_TIP A1: One of my favorite strategies is having students discuss the math with each other. Because we are half online and half in person I have had to facilitate the discussion more by asking students to share their process with the whole class and explain why. #mathsense
https://t.co/OPlrVRgbP6 is a great example of a interactive math classroom blog. Students are able to access the calender, extra resources, and also make posts, comment, and read peers posts.

My two favorite BBPTs are Geogebra and Google docs. Geogebra is a great software that allows students to visualize the math concepts and Google docs is a good way for students to collaborate and work together to create products. #ITEC3300 @WilsonInEdu
