💬 Keep the Conversation Going
With students now settling back into their school routines, it’s important to keep checking in. Regular, open conversations help your child or teen feel supported and understood.
Take a few minutes each day to ask how they’re doing, listen to their worries, and remind them it’s okay to feel a mix of emotions. Sometimes, just knowing you’re there makes all the difference. 💙

Good morning, it’s back to school today! That means a lot of kids will be walking and biking to school. Let’s work together to keep everyone safe.
Here are some reminders for drivers, parents, and caregivers:
▪️Slow Down: School zones are in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (30 km/h). Playground zones are 30 km/h from dawn to dusk.
▪️Be Alert: Watch for children walking, biking, or scootering, especially near schools, playgrounds, and in residential areas.
▪️School Buses: Stop for school buses with flashing lights in both directions.
▪️Look Twice: Be extra cautious when someone is stopped, as they may be yielding to a pedestrian.
▪️Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Ensure kids exit vehicles on the sidewalk side. Never park illegally or block crosswalks.
▪️Teach Kids: Remind children to look left, right, left (again) before crossing the street and make eye contact with drivers, walk on the sidewalk, and stay focused on their surroundings.
