I am still arguing the government doesn’t have a right to tax money by default just bc you work and live. This is a whole new concept. For the first 5000 years of civilized taxation it was mainly a consumption tax such as sales tax. You only paid the tax if you wanted to pay it and bought an item. Now you owe tax just for being alive with a job. That is a new concept.

Inflation was not out of control until Democrats and Biden gave 5 trillion dollars in social welfare payments to people who then had new money they spent and drove up prices. Why shouldn’t prices go up if the poor are going to be given free money to buy it? The people that got screwed were the middle class who were too rich to get welfare but too poor to stay ahead when prices increased.

Obamacare was invented by democrats. It’s not trumps fault that democrats made it illegal for subsidies to go past 2025.

I have it on good authority that democrats have been heard saying that they ended the subsidies on purpose so people would get mad and demand single payor.

If true, that is a huge betrayal. What should the punishment be for democrats who intentionally harm people to force them into supporting something that is not in their best interest? At the very least it should be voted out of office and fined.
