This nation was built on peaceful protest. No elected official should lose their job simply for raising their voice – especially when they’re doing it on behalf of our children.
If you believe in the rule of law, then none of these offenses should be excused:
- Seditious conspiracy
- Inciting insurrection
- Witness intimidation
- Witness tampering
- Obstruction of justice
- Campaign finance
- Insurance fraud
- Banking fraud
- Election fraud
- Sexual assault
- Extortion
The possibility of trump's followers being upset cannot prevent him from being held accountable.
Because no one is above the law.
BREAKING: Remember how Ron DeSantis attacked Disney World and used his government power to penalize the company for speaking out in support of the LQBTQ community?
Disney World was NOT fazed one single bit! They have announced that they will host a major summit on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights in the workplace this coming September.
I want to give credit to Disney for standing up to DeSantis and continuing to advocate for LGBTQ rights.
Think about this.
The average billionaire on the Forbes 400 list could spend $10,000 every single day for 274 years and still have billions of dollars left in the bank.
Don't you think that maybe, just maybe, these guys should be paying more in income tax than a teacher?
@TJCurtVT@BernieSanders No he wasn't talking about the value of your home, he was talking about the 400 richest families. This is a straw man fallacy where you set up your own argument to argue with yourself. The issue here is not math.
This is true for me. Shockingly, I didn't know Bernie Sanders existed prior to the summer of 2015. I was an apathetic non-voter until Bernie. I got radical and went from apolitical to being one of his 2016 delegates + a top social media supporter in 2020 with Bern Identity.
Here's the crazy situation. Somebody making $10 million in a year is contributing the EXACT SAME AMOUNT into Social Security as somebody making $160,000. Let's raise the cap and expand Social Security benefits, not cut them.
Bernie Sanders has a plan to lift the cap on Social Security. If passed, income over $400k would contribute to the Social Security fund.
If successful, seniors would see an additional $200/month.
This is how we change lives for the better and invest in Average families.
