SCDOT is working closely with Dominion Energy and our state partners to make repairs to the damaged walkway over the Lake Murray dam. For now, a portion of the walkway is closed and will remain closed until the completion of the repair. (1/2)

Ahead of schedule, crews removed the lane closure from the southbound lane of this repair project. All lanes are open to travel southbound at this location. Work on the northbound side continues to move forward on schedule.

IOP PD responded to a shooting on the beach behind Sea Cabins. Four individuals were shot and have been transported to MUSC with non-life-threatening injuries.
Several law-enforcement agencies on the scene to assist with the investigation. Investigation is on going.

Captain Gadsden is briefing Troopers and other partners about todays hurricane lane reversal exercise. Please remember no lanes will be reversed or blocked. This is just an exercise. Please be on the lookout for law enforcement and other personnel on the shoulders.
