#TBT#DYK that there used to be bus stops on I-10 at Cincinnati Ave? They were removed when the freeway was double-decked around 1990, although no buses had been stopping there for some time by then. (Photos courtesy of @TxDOTSanAntonio)
@Battlecreek1 The taxes you pay are like the city’s income, and the sale of bonds are like a loan the city can qualify for based on its debt to income ratio in order to deliver something to you as a resident now in exchange for the taxes you pay... or they can just do nothing. I like your name
Tito Bradshaw bicycle repair shop is open today!!! Go by and repair that flat tire, and then ride up to the RIM and take yourself to dinner! @UTSADoS @UTSA@UTSAAlumni@utsacacp@UTSAStaff @UTSAStudents @UTSA_StudentU @District8Manny
There are about 15 ppl stuck in traffic- that bus is carrying 40+ ppl. This is what basic public transit priority looks like. Anything less is just words. #priority
@rivardinsa ...also making decisions only in section does not show the whole picture at all. When you lay it out in plan, my bet is the on-street parking won’t add up. There are currently 15 buses per hour on Broadway and actual ART planned for the future. That’s sidewalks and bus lanes then
@rivardinsa Everyone here is talking about one street. This has always been the problem with how we consider individual projects. We need Complete Networks. When you overlay the full future bus network and full future bike network, bikes don’t land on Broadway. Sorry.
Awesome News 👏🏽 I’m excited to work with our newest board member and daily VIA user Athalie Malone 😃
“Malone, who is visually impaired, said VIA buses have become her main mode of transportation since she lost her sight.” 💪🏽https://t.co/i9n7qTWoY4
