BIG NEWS: A Federal Judge in Michigan just ordered Starbucks to STOP firing union leaders.
The judge issued a national cease-and-desist order against Starbucks to prevent the company from firing workers in retaliation for their union activity.
Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout this process. We appreciate the solidarity! We still have a long road ahead and hope to keep your support and solidarity with us through our journey!❤️ @BhamDSA@SBWUnitedBHAM@SBWorkersUnited

Our #AnsleyMall union workers Nick & Amanda had the opportunity to visit the @labornotes’ AL Troublemakers school & they got to connect with fmr. partner Garrett from @SCTstarbucks, who is still awaiting a certified result to become the 2nd union store in Alabama! @SouthernSBWU
This is the endgame for Starbucks.
They refuse to negotiate with @SBWorkersUnited. The goal is to eliminate vocal union members and demoralize the rest of the workforce, then push decertification votes.
It's blatantly illegal. There should be federal intervention. Please share
We had a great showing of solidarity at our Labor Day sip-in at the unionized Midtown Starbucks!
@SBWUnitedBHAM supporters all across the nation showed up at stores today in solidarity with partners facing retaliatory firings and store closures.
The Scottsboro Starbucks Union (@SCTstarbucks@SBWorkersUnited) vote is tied. There are 4 challenged ballots, so it'll be a while before workers have a final decision:

The NLRB says the number of challenged ballots could determine the vote, so the Regional Director will now decide if the challenged ballots should be opened. So a final decision on if a union will be formed has not yet been determined. @whnt
BREAKING: the National Labor Relations Board just held the ballot count for the @Starbucks in Scottsboro, AL. This as the group @SCTstarbucks is trying to form a union. RESULTS: 8 yes, 8 no, 4 challenged ballots. (Cont’d in thread)
Had a great time w @SCTstarbucks@SBWorkersUnited today to support the workers who've been retaliated against & the folks still working at the store.
Ballots went out last week & come this time next month we believe there's gonna be another Starbucks union in Alabama 💪✊️
UPDATE: $1,740 of a $3k goal for the relief fund for fired organizers from @SCTstarbucks@SBWorkersUnited.
