@LiverpoolEP@hrs_journal@DhirajGuptaBHRS Very interesting data! The LAUDABLE study clearly demonstrates that we should remain humble when treating patients with persistent AF. There are limitations of using indirect lesion metrics to guide ablation, especially in diseased atria. Kudos to @DhirajGuptaBHRS and his team.
🆕Following the 2023 ACC/AHA/ACCP/HRS Guideline (class IA), now also the 2024 EHRA/HRS/APHRS/LAHRS 🌍Expert Consensus Statement recommends first-line AF ablation for symptomatic patients with paroxysmal AF! To cope with this, an efficient workflow is needed.

The adjustable size ↕️ of the novel #POLARxFIT ❄️ #cryoballoon is very useful to adapt to different PV anatomy, as we have experienced in the Erasmus MC the last weeks. The larger 31 mm size may be better to achieve more antral lesions in larger PVs and t…https://t.co/sJuZGJaC48
