Metallica have set yet another attendance record on their 2026 run, this time at Berlin’s Olympiastadion on May 30.
In a post on Instagram, the band wrote: “Night after night, city after city, the Metallica Family is bringing it! Yesterday, over 94,000 of you helped break the record for the biggest EVER show at Olympiastadion. Thank you!”
The venue’s previous record was 90,000, set by U2 in 2009. Metallica’s in‑the‑round M72 stage helped push the crowd past the stadium’s usual 74,475 capacity.
This marks the latest milestone on the M72 World Tour, which has already included record‑breaking shows in Athens, Los Angeles, and more. The band continues through Europe this month before heading to Las Vegas for their Sphere residency in October.

Should've known better than to think Tacha's black ass would mow the lawn in a pattern, you know, like a sane person. Looks like a damn crackhead went for a joyride 😂
@UConnWBB Nobody is buying this BS. He's always been classless & pompous. He can't even mention Dawn's name. How anyone thinks highly of him is beyond me
Jesus,
I stand in reverence before the weight of what You endured, the suffering, the humiliation, the cross, knowing it was borne not out of necessity for Yourself, but out of love for us.
You chose to enter into our brokenness so that we would no longer be bound by fear, anxiety, or sin. You gave Yourself freely so that Love might triumph where darkness once held dominion.
It was Love that hung upon the cross, Love that bore every wound, carried every burden, and refused to turn away. And when You declared, “It is finished,” it was not surrender but victory, the decisive end of all that sought to keep us captive.
Because of Your sacrifice, the veil is torn, and I am invited into unbroken communion with You. Thank You for that mercy. I fall short often, almost every day, yet I continue to try, and You remain the one who has never abandoned me.
Thank You for that mercy, for that access, for that grace.
Draw me deeper into the knowledge of who You are, and make my life a vessel that carries Your hope to others.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
