This past weekend, we had our first loggerhead nest of the year at @MyrtleBeachSP -- and Ranger Ann was lucky enough to witness the mama on the beach the next morning.

Ranger Ann operates under Marine Turtle Permit #510 from SCDNR.

This mother alligator was spotted out on St. Phillips Island. We are heading into breeding and nesting season for alligators, so you may see more alligator movement as moms prepare.

If you encounter wildlife, remember to give them plenty of space and enjoy from a safe distance!
