@MichaelRosenYes There are* lots of vernacular single/plural mismatches though: “Management’s coming down this afternoon. They want to see the factory” / “Chelsea’s got Spurs on Tuesday. But they’re pony” etc. (*”There’s” !)

@MichaelRosenYes @whatSFSaid When at school, some friends had to give a speech to a Model United Nations. It was an insane long-shot, but one wrote to BZ who incredibly graciously responded with a hand written poem - “People of the world, Unite!”. I’ve always thought it was an exceptionally generous act. RIP

It’s phenomenal.
