Universal school meals go into effect today!

As a someone who grew up with a different colored lunch ticket, I know firsthand how the school cafeteria has been a space of stigma and shame.

In Minnesota, we've changed that reality for our kids.

‼️ Today, the Senate Committee on Appropriations unveiled the first two FY24 appropriations bills. The bill fully funds #WIC at levels proposed by @POTUS and levels agreed to as a result of the debt ceiling deal.

Our middle school mock trial team competed against 14 schools at the John Joseph Moakley Federal Court.  It was great to have the support of @MayorLungoKoehn in attendance as a judge.  Our students did a fantastic job representing Medford in the Discovering Justice Program!

Our Medford High School rowers made our community proud at the Mayor’s Cup Regatta this weekend with 40 boats competing for the Cup!
