Patty! 👏

For 40+ years, the Batemans have exhibited a true dedication & passion for USAC racing.

After her husband Randy's passing, rather than walk away, Patty Bateman raced on w/ the Silver Crown season for 8 more years.

She's the 2024 recipient of the Jason Leffler Award.

Incredible run by @JerryCoonsJr and that historic Bateman #55 car. So cool to see them running up front

[Dave Whisler @Dave_Whisler]

Thank you @TEIRacing & @USACNation for the effort to make #TedHorn100 happen. Patty Bateman's ( @SCracer55 ) car started 9th and finished 9th. @JerryCoonsJr was running a comfortable 2nd when a late race gremlin sidelined our effort.

"Straight Outta Tucson"

No driver in champ car racing history at the @DQStateFair has won the pole more often than @JerryCoonsJr.

Jerry has achieved the feat in 2001-10-13-17.

This Saturday night, he'll pilot the @SCracer55 where he'll aim for pole #5 & win #1.

@JerryCoonsJr @TuckersAutoIL @USACNation @TEIRacing Chuck Tucker @TuckersAutoIL has been a HUGE supporter of open wheel racing this year! He was so proud to see you @JerryCoonsJr park it on front stretch at Duquoin yesterday.

[USAC Racing @USACNation]

.@JerryCoonsJr led 10 laps late and nearly pulled off his first USAC Silver Crown victory in eight seasons.

He wound up 2nd tonight at the #SumarClassic, his best Silver Crown result since a 2nd place run at the @BellevilleHB in 2015.
