This morning the Sunday Gardening group harvested some of our hops to dry to use for festive decorations and planted out some Bok choy in their training bed. They also collected some AQAs! #october#horticulture#cityfarm#volunteer#skills#learning
We had a small crop of fruit from our quince tree this year. The Farm Produce students used the fruits to make some incredible Quince Jam, the first batch is now on sale via our online shop.

We had a really enjoyable morning with our Gardening for Wellbeing group. Exploring the orchard, feeding the pigs and tasting a variety of apples. We also planted out herbs and some oriental greens. We harvested the first of the Jack Be Little squashes, basil and wild rocket! 😃
As the seasons change we are starting to take out the last of the beans and sweetcorn plants in the River Garden - check out that Squash. This is looked after by our Gardening for Wellbeing group @SouthwarkHub Rocket and basil were also harvested to take home #mentalhealth 🌱🥗
Another lovely afternoon with @ggsouthwark who assisted us with bagging up manure for our online shop and sweeping the goat yard. The team worked so hard that there was plenty of time for goat and sheep cuddles!
