@BBallScout2288@JamesCrayy@NMEBBALL So because they are HS players we cannot call the basketball being played “low” or “high” IQ? That’s literally the purpose of summer circuits — for college coaches to evaluate the talent…… silly comment.
If you are a parent in SD — and you are only interested in D1 or D2 offers for your kid, you are a problem. SO MANY parents in this state think their kid is too good for the regional NAIA programs. These are miserable parents and WE HAVE A LOT of them in SD right now.
@pjpowers55@BillyRayLahey62 It really isn’t about skill and ability. It’s about size & athleticism. SD isn’t producing 6’4” athletic PG’s, 6’9” wings that can jump out of the gym, or 7 footers on a regular basis. It’s just a fact.
@BillyRayLahey62@IceBorg sure — that’s probably fair, for past generations. But I think Peterson could truly make a massive shift with the new SDSU coach (also Peterson). My opinion is there is a gap and opening right now where Eric could attack that.
@IceBorg And I’d love to see him focus on local talent. Historically, SDSU and NDSU have success with in state kids that don’t tend to transfer away from home. Just my opinion.
@IceBorg Personally — I’d like to see a shift in where he is focusing the recruiting. A lot of the guys that make up his rosters are transfers from across the country. If you focus on the transfer portal, every year you are going to have large turnover.
