The Genius project demonstrated our latest results to the Advisory Board at @SDU_UAS_Center, HCA Airport.
Thanks to the AB for your fruitful feedback and for contributing to the workshop. We look forward to moving on with the project! https://t.co/gvDg6dyx3B
This is why we have a drone cage at SDU Dronecenter...sometimes the software does not act as expected. In this case, the result would have been an uncontrolled flyaway. Luckily our good friends from the HCA Airport fire brigade could help us retrieve it.
We spent a few days last week in Västervik, Sweden to experience the ACC Innovation ThunderWasp heavy lift drone. We expect one similar to this to fly its first rounds at the @uasdenmark_int testcenter in Hans Christian Andersen Airport in the fall of 2022.

We were delighted to host the Airflight Aircrane Heavy Lift Drone for its first outdoor tests in our new drone cage today. Tests went completely according to plan, and Airflight can now move to the next steps in their test program for the Aircrane.

And we have motion...
Our @Symetrie Mistral Hexapod is a alive and saying "Hello World". Looking forward to operator training next week and all the exiting things we will be doing with it.

We have completed the installation of our new @Symetrie Hexapod. With this installation @SDU_UAS_Center can provide a unique combination of Motion Table and @optitrack motion capture to conduct advanced motion studies for UAS that has to take off or launch from moving vehicles.

Drones4Energy project is organizing a workshop on April 5, 2019 with @HydroQuebec, Canada and @EnerginetDK, Denmark at @SyddanskUniv @SDU_UAS_Center to discuss the current solutions and challenges for inspecting high-voltage powerlines using robots and drones.
We have developed a small prototype drone (250mm wheelbase) for our colleagues at the SDU Industry 4.0 Lab, who will put this into production as a platform that can be adapted for different IOT payloads, sensors and controllers. @SyddanskUniv #drones
@devinsense We look forward to using it for a number of projects and purposes. What a versatile and valuable tool. Thanks for a pleasant and informative day.
