Real Thrawn would not have been visibly shook in the slightest to learn Ahsoka was trained by Anakin. He would have enacted a plan to take her out of commission immediately. The EU version of Thrawn doesn't get rattled by revelations—he processes information coldly and turns it into an advantage. Learning that Ahsoka carries Anakin's training would have been filed away as a tactical detail, not an emotional shock. He would have studied her fighting style, predicted her moves, and moved to neutralize her before she could become a problem. That's the Thrawn who outmaneuvered entire fleets with limited resources. The version that reacts with visible surprise is fanfiction. Real Thrawn stays three steps ahead and treats every piece of intel as a weapon to be used, not a surprise to be felt. Disney's take misses the entire point of the character.
