After more than 20 years in the military, Eli had finally retired.

Eli, his wife, Malki, and their three children had tickets to travel to Thailand and so many plans, but when Hamas attacked on October 7th, before the children had even woken up, he had already left for Kibbutz Be’eri where he was killed in battle with Hamas.

Since October 7th, 400+ children have lost at least one parent in Israel’s war against Hamas to rescue the hostages.

They miss the small things - bedtime hugs, flips in the pool.
