Hello Twitter #BuildInPublic (I will never call you x). Over the past year I've built a social network for people called PIECES. Try it out by creating a real post at https://t.co/zdzjSIZYW7. This generates an account that you can either claim or delete. Strip the subdomain to see the normal home page.
PIECES is a privacy focused and people oriented social network. It's a mixture of all the best parts of the social platforms I've used: instagram/tumblr/twitter/substack. It's on iOS/Android and has a dedicated web experience.
You can visit my profile at https://t.co/FqMHWYzIHi and check out the official account at https://t.co/H6bf2PNx9P
Don't trust social networks? I understand, so I wrote out the PIECES Social Contract which lays out the promises we're making to all our members - https://t.co/uFMRVr4Cn5
Invite only for now. Send me a request and I'll review it. I want the first 10k members to be fairly engaged to protect the vibe. Happy to answer questions here.
@chrislake 7+ years ago when I saw you on a boat and I am seeing you tonight at the Store House! Almost 8 years ago you played the BangOn Elements after party at House of Yes and I was there as well. Congratulations on the album, looking forward to tonight!
@VadimNotJustDev I'm leaning towards purchasing the course, but still curious, what would you say is the biggest reasons to purchase the course vs watching your own 8 hour deep dive tutorial on YT? - https://t.co/fZP3N8gwa1
@eastdakota My account has been stuck in limbo for 20 days trying to upgrade from Images -> Images + Stream combo. 500 error when trying to cancel my downgrade. I would love to build a feature with stream ASAP. Can you get someone to look into it? Ticket #3262981
@oliverburkeman as someone who lives in Prospect Heights and has been reading Four Thousand Weeks at cafes/bars on Washington Ave, I have to know: which bench at Prospect Park did you have your Eckhart Tolle-esque insight about time management? I'd like to sit there this week 🪑
@the_jennitaur@nytimes just read this. Wow! The details in the article, with use of screenshots and Google Maps and Wayback Machine, must've really knocked the subjects on their backs. Incredible reporting!
