DEVELOPING: WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital will no longer accept West Virginia Public Employees insurance starting July 1. I’m working to learn what this means for those with the PEIA. Here’s a statement from WVU Medicine. We’ll have more tonight at 5 and 6 on @WTOV9
Feeling motivated! ❤️ I was privileged to attend the Cabell County Educational Excellence Summit today and have some fresh ideas for fall. After a tough year, I needed the boost. ❤️ Ron Clark knows how to inspire an audience. 😊

Students who took the #PSAT/NMSQT in October will receive their scores December 7 or 8.
When you’ll receive access to your scores will be based on your physical location on December 7 and 8. https://t.co/hXFhDv16nC
I think teacher evaluations right now should focus on the following questions:
How are you doing?
Are you taking care of yourself?
How is your family?
How can I best support you right now?
My Teacher Wish List:
- Higher pay so we don’t have to work extra jobs.
- Smaller class sizes so we can build strong relationships.
- More funding for supplies so we don’t have to spend our own money.
- To be respected, valued and supported like we deserve to be.
ABC wants to show appreciation for all frontline workers. If you’re a healthcare worker or frontline responder, DM us a selfie in uniform and we may include it in a special promo for #GreysAnatomy and #Station19 featuring real frontline heroes. Thank you for all that you do!
The Saturday 8/22/20 School Alert System Map update is posted at https://t.co/1eceMPwfpB. The update, each Saturday at 9:00 p.m., determines if schools can open on 9/8/20, and remain open the following weeks. It also determines the level of extracurricular activities permitted.
Processing today: I took 2 fully online APSI courses this summer. Here are my takeaways as it relates to being a "student" in an online class.
1. Do not make students turn on their cameras
There were times I was eating & turned off my camera only to be asked to turn it back on
