Earlier this month, I visited McConnell AFB to meet with Airmen and industry partners. Seeing their work firsthand reinforced two priorities: take care of our people and build the readiness our nation demands. Our mission depends on both!
We are officially launching the DIU Bridge Program – a dedicated business unit designed to eliminate the most critical bottlenecks inhibiting technology adoption.

My colleagues and I are saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. and CAPT (Ret.) James Roche, the 20th Secretary of the Air Force. Following a distinguished 23-year career in the Navy, Dr. Roche went on to serve in the private sector before returning to government to lead the Department during a defining chapter in our post-9/11 history.
I extend my deepest condolences to his loved ones and join those who knew him and served with him in honoring his distinguished service. His leadership and commitment helped strengthen the Joint Force, leaving a true impression on our nation.
Thank you for your leadership and for shaping the U.S. Space Force, Gen. Saltzman! Congratulations on your retirement, and best wishes to you and Jennifer as you begin this next chapter. May it be filled with well-earned time together and new adventures.

Lindsey Graham was an unapologetic champion for our military.
Joint Base Lindsey Graham will carry his legacy forward for generations to come.
Rest easy, Senator—we have the watch.
Huge congrats to Lt Gen Doug Schiess on his Senate confirmation as the 3rd Chief of Space Operations! Having worked closely with him, I know his ops depth & vision are exactly what we need to continue accelerating capabilities and protecting our nation. I also want to extend my deepest gratitude to Gen Chance Saltzman for his leadership during a period of massive transformation. The @USSpaceForce is more ready because of you both.

Reflecting on an incredibly productive trip to Texas! I had the opportunity to meet with leaders & teammates @UTEP, @JointTFSB, @1stArmoredDiv, @AFWERX, as well as the Borderplex Alliance, @TXSpaceComm, and @GovAbbott. We covered a ton of ground to ensure the Department of the Air Force is postured for the future:
✅ Received updates on the joint task force, base operations & readiness. ✅ Affirmed ways to improve partnerships across commercial sectors & academia that accelerate capability development. ✅ Discussed the critical need for growing the @USSpacForce footprint.
The commitment & cooperation between military, state leadership, and local innovators was clear. The way Texas’s infrastructure & talent pool will continue helping the DAF maintain a competitive edge - very clear!
Huge thanks to everyone who hosted our team. Together, we’re ensuring #Airmen and #Guardians have exactly what they need to protect the nation.

Visiting @EAA’s AirVenture Oshkosh last week was a great reminder of the Air Force’s past, present, and future! I saw epic flyovers, connected with recruiters & teams from across the Total Force, and had the honor of enlisting new Airmen & Guardians. Truly inspiring to engage with the next generation in aviation and innovation.
Congratulations to @USSpaceForce Col Anil Menon on your successful flight to the International Space Station today! Thank you @NASA for being a great partner to our Guardians and leading cutting-edge research.

Welcome aboard the International Space Station, @astro_anil.
Your mission is just getting started. Wishing you and your crewmates a successful expedition as you advance research and inspire millions back here on Earth.
We remember and honor the life of Senator Lindsey Graham — Airman, leader, and public servant. He answered the nation's call in uniform, building an over 30-year career in the Air Force as a military attorney, prior to and during his decades-long service in Congress.
Senator Graham’s lifelong commitment to our Airmen, national defense, and the American people leaves behind a legacy of service to others. On behalf of the Department of the Air Force, I extend my deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of serving alongside him.
From B1-B operations to base construction prepping for the B-21 arrival, the @28thBombWing is ready for their mission today and modernizing for the future.
Very proud of the Ellsworth AFB Airmen delivering long-range airpower and strategic deterrence every day!
I am aware of recent reports involving an Air Force officer protesting at the United States Capitol. Let me be clear: I expect every Airman and Guardian to comply with all laws and policies governing personal conduct, political participation, and the wear of the uniform. Americans place their trust in us. We cannot, and will not, compromise the trust of the Nation.
Good order and discipline are critical to the DAF’s mission, and rigorously maintaining the highest standards of conduct on & off duty are an absolute must for all Airmen and Guardians.
The Department takes allegations of misconduct seriously, including any that might undermine the nonpartisan nature of our military. Pursuant to a thorough investigation - which will proceed unimpeded - commanders will ensure appropriate disposition when holding service members accountable in accordance with military law and due process.
Minot AFB Airmen stand watch every day delivering combat capability that supports two-thirds of the nuclear triad. Such professionalism and commitment are the foundation of deterrence, and continued investment in nuclear modernization ensures we maintain what’s needed to keep America safe.
The outstanding workforce and F-35 production line in Fort Worth, TX reflects what’s possible when we partner closely with industry to deliver combat power at speed and scale.
