Use simple logic. Why would Iran close the Strait and stop ships from reaching THEIR OWN OIL PORTS? They wouldn't. They'd be destroying themselves.

Trump has ALWAYS controlled the Strait. The US Navy sitting outside is keeping it closed. When Trump says Iran will "open the Strait" as part of the deal — he means THEY will do what HE says.

It's a power play. He's showing the world who's in charge.
