Our voice assistants handle more tasks over voice and we’re adding functionality every day. A few things our team handed off this week completely over voice:
· Managed Claude Code and Devin sessions from a walk, no laptop
· Found a spot for a team dinner of 15 in NYC, booked it, and texted back the confirmation
· Bought a few books we'd been putting off ordering
· Planned a 3-day trip and sent it over as a webpage

I've been exploring using voice for steering coding sessions on my commutes at @sesame and I really like it.
Working with Opus/Sonnet 5.5 is at the point where I often find it useful to multitask over voice even while I'm at my desk.

Our first priority is getting the hardware right. The glasses have to fall into the category of “beautiful eyewear”, not “consumer electronics product”.
I’ve been wearing Sesame frames for months now, and I have not had a single person wonder whether they are anything other than regular eyewear.
Yesterday, we shared that our glasses will be Made in Japan, reflecting our commitment to achieving a level of craft suitable for the category.

The new Sesame voice model is more expressive, intelligent and capable. It has its own full computer to do all sorts of research and complex tasks.
It's hard to describe. You can use it as a live thought partner to riff and learn new things, iterate on documents together, even manage coding agents. It feels like a new species.
Try it in the October update of the Sesame app.

We've been using Maya, Miles, Charlie, and Simone to develop this release, helping orchestrate other agents like Devin, Claude Code, and Codex.
We do this over voice on walks, commuting, and often at our desk with Link.

With our latest models, Maya, Miles, Charlie, and Simone are smarter and more capable than ever:
- Each assistant has its own computer. They can riff with you on a personal project, research your next adventure, or help you find anything on the web.
- They can connect with apps like Gmail and Calendar to act on your behalf.
- A new voice mode for all characters making them more expressive.
- Artifacts that are now more helpful with new formats, including voice notes.
- Everything can be handled smoothly over voice or text.
