“Why CSK Is Struggling? Big Mistake No One Is Talking About!”

My observation on CSK in the past few years 👇

Chennai Super Kings have failed to perform as per the expectations of CSK fans because they have done a lot of experiments with their batting line-ups over the past few years.

For example, Ruturaj Gaikwad was asked to bat at No.3 (IPL 2025), and MS Dhoni himself has batted very late on many occasions, sometimes even at No.8.

This problem now looks set to continue in IPL 2026 as well.

Ayush Mhatre, who is an opener, batted at No.3 against RR and failed.

Sarfaraz Khan, who has scored a lot of runs at No.3 for Mumbai in SMAT, was sent to bat at No.5 against RR.

Matthew Short, who usually opens and has made his name in world cricket as an opener, batted at No.4 against RR and failed.

When players are not given their natural roles, it becomes difficult for them to perform consistently.
