@EYDShow He spent to help the big league team compete now because the farm was basically dead. If you look at the Top 6 of our prospect list, they’re all Posey guys besides Level. He injected life into the farm to have sustainable success. His first draft will debut next year.

Ultimately his stint as the POBO will have minimal impact on his legacy. If he continues to fail in this role and leaves, Giants fans will still talk about him as a HOF catcher and the guy that played a key role in winning 3 WS. The vitriol will get redirected to the next POBO.
