Cancer is the most dangerous, under-recognized threat to the health and safety of our State’s firefighters.
Therefore, the time is now to stand up and show support for the Presumptive Cancer Legislation proposed in the 2024 session.

Firefighter’s have a 9% greater risk of being diagnosed with cancer than the general public and a 14% greater risk of dying from occupational cancer than the general public, according to the Firefighter Cancer Support Network.
