SFPD and MCSO SWAT teams will be conducting training near Riverdale Park (2000 E. 24th Street) today from noon to 4 p.m. Residents in the area may hear occasional loud noises or controlled explosions as part of the exercise.

We are asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing juvenile Serenity Lopez.

Serenity was last seen in the 3000 block of E. 7th St. She was wearing a black T-shirt and pink shorts and has long black hair with pink tips.

Festival of Bands Parade is downtown Saturday morning. Staging closures start at 7:00 a.m., parade route closes at 7:30 a.m., and the first band steps off at 8:30 a.m. Expect traffic impacts. Please use public lots/garages. Good luck to all the bands!

We are asking for the public’s help locating 12 year old Nia Deal. She is 5’5”, 130 lbs., and was last seen wearing a black sweater and sweatpants, with her hair in two ponytails.

Nia left her home shortly after noon on 9/12.
