Thank you, Brandon Clarke. His legendary series against the Timberwolves in 2022 where he averaged 16.5 PPG, 9.0 rebounds and nearly three assists over six games to help Memphis advance will forever be one of the top moments in Grizzlies Next Gen era. RIP, BC 🙏🏼
From what we’ve seen from Ajay Mitchell so far I believe it is scalable
The team is better when he is aggressive in his production and competes with a high level motor defensively.
Thunder guard Ajay Mitchell reportedly broke down in tears during a team film session just one day after the unexpected passing of his father, per @JoelXLorenzi
Mitchell played through the grief on Dec. 18, recording 16 PTS, 7 REB, and 5 AST in a win before finally letting his emotions out with his teammates.
"'I know my dad would have said, 'Go out there and hoop.' I don't want to let him down."
Ajay is currently averaging 13.6 PPG in a breakout Year 2 for the Thunder. Pure resilience. 🙏
