Okay so this post inspired me to do a cover song for the following track on that album, Wildcats from San Antonio, hopefully I can get a mechanical license to legitimately publish this either on the album I’m about to push out or thinking on a new album for oilfield songs, maybe with Fracslaps song I made too.

Building healthy soil, I read a book, The Secret Life of Compost – Malcolm Beck, that taught me this same concept- oversimplified; cover bare soil with organic matter- whatever is abundantly available, and leftover hay is usually one of those for a lot of rural communities. Hay, sand and manure is perfect combination for growing even more grass.
Just imagine what you could do in an area that turned its overabundant produced water into available agricultural water asset and applied this same principle.

If I were to need a similar setup for proven designs of new expanders, pumps and compressors with patented designs could we iterate this to build off of the compiled data from the tests and engineering data that we have? We discussed this today for building out manufacturing starting from this approach where we can iterate new iterations easier and test, reiterate data back through software and compile. Be able to send updated config files to CNC for production.
Want to be able to manufacture this in Texas and specifically target replacing reciprocating compressors used for moving natural gas in the field with smaller high pressure rotary designed compressor. Smaller footprint, cheaper and easier to repair and produce.
Expanders can be used for ORC cooling, which could be used to replace traditional cooler setups and generate power instead of the parasitic hog that it is.
So for instance your above described turbine could use an ORC system to produce power from its waste heat, and also slip stream from it could be used for cyro inlet air cooler as well. Reducing overall load on turbine driver, increasing power performance, reduced fuel usage and overall less power consumption.

@wtx_jayhawk These valves are nice and easy to setup too. Used one recently for hot gas bypass on VRU package and was impressed by the options it had for control on such a small valve and the ease of actually setting it up. 👍

They used to do drag boat racing out there back in the day, and there’s an ATV course up top, plenty of hills and trails to climb. Could be a money maker instead of resource drain. Could also be a killer ATV/motor-cross course, horse hotel and horse trails, it just needs money to build it with a legit RV park and charge people enough to keep it nice.

Yes and much cheaper if considering pricing of Waha residue gas as your fuel source, this is why it probably makes sense for natural gas boilers to run steam plant versus waiting for and paying for large gas turbines. The economics overall with this input make total sense despite the efficiency loss comparison between the two.

We have the technology to do all of this already, scaling manufacturing for the equipment is the harder part we are working on. Waha residue process make sense for contracting large volume for building NG power plant. Stranded gas can be used in combination with gensets and then run our new RO centrifuge from Eden Technologies for converting produced water to fresh at 97% recovery rate. New tech eliminates membrane filter changes and less energy intensive.
Just need capital directed to people who actually are pragmatic and can get shit done instead of paying the cronies.
