Outside of work? She reads, she writes, and she will absolutely stop to pet your dog if you bring one to the space 🐾. She also loves travelling, camping, and being outdoors whenever life allows.

Oh, and she speaks English, Arabic, Somali, and Turkish. So come say hi in whatever language feels like home.

Contrairement à ce que vous affirmez, la Francophonie n'est pas un espace de "plus de 320 millions de locuteurs" de français. Le Ministère congolais de la culture, des arts et du patrimoine se base certainement sur des chiffres d'un moteur de recherche qui n'est plus à jour.

En effet, selon le Rapport 2026 de l'Observatoire de l'@OIFrancophonie, publié en mars chez Gallimard, le nombre de locuteurs de français est désormais de 396 MILLIONS de personnes dans le monde, faisant passer la langue française de la 5ème à la 4ème langue mondiale, derrière l'anglais, le chinois et l'espagnol, et devant l'arabe standard.

De façon plus générale, le nombre de locuteurs de français dans le monde est passé, sous le mandat de la Secrétaire générale Louise Mushikiwabo, de 304 millions en 2018 à 396 millions en 2026, ce qui est une réalisation à saluer.

Et mon petit doigt me dit qu'avant le XXème Sommet de la Francophonie au Cambodge (15-16 Novembre 2026), nous aurions certainement passé le cap symbolique de 400 millions de locuteurs de français dans le monde.

This evening at BK Arena, President Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame attended the opening day of the 2026 @theBAL Playoffs, where Rwanda’s RSSB Tigers defeated Morocco’s FUS Rabat, 95–72.

Today at Green Hills Academy, President Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame joined Grandparents Day, where they enjoyed traditional Rwandan performances by the school’s Nursery Three learners.

The day offered grandparents a memorable opportunity to celebrate Rwandan culture alongside their grandchildren.

This afternoon at the Kigali Convention Centre, President Kagame held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Samia Suluhu Hassan @SuluhuSamia, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, who is in Kigali attending the Nuclear Energy Innovation Summit for Africa #NEISA2026.

On the sidelines of the Summit, the two Heads of State witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the energy sector between the Republic of Rwanda and the United Republic of Tanzania, further committing to advancing shared energy development goals.

President Kagame also met with Sama Bilbao y León, Director General of the World Nuclear Association; Sylvie Bermann, President of the World Nuclear Exhibition; Serge Ekue, President of the West African Development Bank; Daniel Poneman, Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations; and Ian Farnan, CEO of Cambridge Atom Works, who are attending the Nuclear Energy Innovation Summit for Africa (NEISA -2026).

They discussed the role of nuclear energy in expanding access to reliable power, supporting industrial growth, and unlocking opportunities in Rwanda, and across the African continent.
