The work toward liberation is continuous. The war on drugs continues to enslave Black people. We aren’t free until everyone is free

For our Photovoice Project, we equipped our participants with disposable cameras to give a voice to the voiceless, free of stigma or shame.

SB 1740 will expand protections for “Good Samaritans”, and proposes limited civil liability for community members and first responders who administer emergency opioid antagonists like naloxone.

We are here to empower, not to dictate the decisions of others.

Most people think of harm reduction simply as a stepping stone to full abstinence. Sure, this is the case for some people, but not for all. Some people have no desire to stop using their substance of choice, and that’s okay, because it’s their choice. We have to respect people’s autonomy to make their own decisions.
