To kick off Concussion Awareness Week, here is a great video with an overview of the recent updates to return to school after concussion by Dr. Roger Zemek.
✔️Return within 1-2 days or as soon as possible
✔️Avoid school activities that have a risk of hitting your head or falling
✔️It is common to still have symptoms and OK if they worsen a little when doing school work
✔️Returning to activities such as school is good for your recovery
✔️You DO NOT need a Doctor's note to return to school
✔️Medical clearance is required to return to high-risk activities such as gameplay in gym class
