My boy took part in a primary school swimming gala today.

All the private schools won. They have their own swimming pools, no doubt swimming coaches too.

If there ever was an example of the privilege gap and an indicator of inequity affecting outcomes in education, there it is.

On Saturday, a lady working at John Lewis Cafe, Cribbs Causeway, noticed my pregnancy, smiled & ushered me to a quieter area - evidently to speed the buying process.

Please make sure you are giving out as many Positive Behaviour points to the nice kids as you do to the naughty ones. Last week Jake Johnson in Year 7 got one point for winning the world book day essay writing competition and Boy Jayden got 50 for bringing a pen.
