Governor Ron DeSantis,
I write this as an open letter to you, in hopes that as small as my voice may be, my story may serve as a testimony towards your future decisions.
I am a 22 year old life long resident of Sumter County. And I'm a proud native 8th Generation Floridian.
I worked very closely alongside James Fishback. And became very familiar with the gubernatorial election in it's entirety. I was privy to background information such as future debate dates, etc.
I got to know James over the course of several months and subsequently found him to be a fraud, I however lingered on the campaign as I felt I have always had an obligation to serve, regardless of whatever disgusting face was at the forefront.
I have since discovered this a serious and gross miscalculation in my own ethos. And have tried to listen more than I speak since having left the campaign. I should have told the truth while I was on the campaign about James' moral discretions and lack of fortitude and hypocrisy.
I fear what Florida would become under a Governor Fishback. You would have something akin to Huey Long's tenure. Florida would be left in the scrap heap. And the 8 long years you've spent building this state would be laid to waste in a fortnight.
Coincidentally, a Governor Donald's presents an ever present and malicious danger as well, to our natural resources, and everything that makes Florida, Florida. Byron Donald's is a weak candidate who relies on insider trading to make his living.
In this turbulent election, I know you have kept quiet for a myriad of reasons. This is not the time to remain quiet. Horrible things happen when good men do and say nothing.
That is why, I implore you to endorse the man you appointed to serve alongside you, a man with the same determination and grit as yourself, to be our next Governor. There is far too much at risk to allow this fiasco to continue.
Your endorsement will decide the election. Full stop. And it would decide this election, today. You won a mandate entirely on your own merit during your reelection. The people of Florida, would be more than happy to keep you for a further 8 years if it were possible.
However, in lieu of what an immense blessing that would be, we would be more than happy to have your legacy carried forward by Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins.
Thank you for your service to our state and our country.
Yours,
Bryant Fulgham
@JenniferSey Apparently not all of them. There are a few that still support it. One that still supports it was a member of the best women’s soccer team in the U.S. that lost to a bunch of 14yr old boys.
@LeaderJohnThune Pass the SAVE Act. We’ve shouted it. We’ve begged. The majority of the country wants it. And now we watch an election in LA get stolen. You and the GOP promised results if elected. We got you into office. All of you have done zilch. You and the GOP are worthless.
So today my son and I hung out and went to SeaWorld for few hours and rode Kraken, Mako, and Manta.🎢 After that, went to lunch. While having lunch, the conversation shifted to the governor’s race. My son is going to be 23 years old. His whole generation likes Fishback. I asked him why. He said that he understands what they want, he has great ideas, and his focus is only on the state and this country. He says that they don’t want money going to foreign countries anymore. I did have to remind him that a lot of the stuff that Fishback says, he has no control over. But my son was adamant that our tax dollars should stay in this country. So we talked about a few other things too. In my mind, I was thinking that the Collins campaign needs to draw in the youngers. We talked about how if Collins could go to UCF, which mind you is a very liberal college with quiet, conservatives, he could get in front of the young crowd, and they may understand him better. I did remind him again that there could be a residency issue with Fishback and then what’s going to happen? My personal fear is that these young voters are either not going to vote at all or they’re going to vote Democrat. Donalds has the boomers. A majority of GenX and older millennials like Collins. Fishback has GenZ and younger millennials. See my point? Collins needs to pull in the younger voters.
I drove to 648 Grassmere Park to see it for myself.
I had no idea what was about to be built 50 yards from the @nashvillezoo.
A data center. Right against the treeline where the animals my kids grew up visiting are kept.
I’m not anti-technology…
The phone you’re reading this on is tied to one of these somewhere. We all live in this now.
But here’s the thing nobody’s telling you: a low hum doesn’t stop at a wall. It goes right through it. And the zoo’s own CEO says it’d sit 50 yards from animals they’ve spent decades trying to protect and breed.
No study. No rules. No vote. Just a rushed permit.
You don’t have to hate the future to say: not like this.
The petition’s in my bio. Takes 10 seconds.
Right now, 10 seconds is the whole fight. 🐆
@hecheateddotorg So many people still refuse to believe this no matter how logically or eloquently you explain it. Critical thinking skills are missing in many people today.
