पाइप से लोगों को तो सस्ती व स्वच्छ गैस मिल ही रही है, साथ में व्यावसायिक केंद्रों व उद्योगों को भी बड़ा लाभ मिल रहा है।

पाइप से सिर्फ गैस ही नहीं पहुँचती, बल्कि परिवारों का, माताओं-बहनों का जीवन आसान होता है। इससे हज़ारों लोगों को रोजगार भी मिलता है।

इसी कड़ी में 1998 से शुरू हुई @IGLConnect से अब तक पाइप के माध्यम से 30.7 लाख से अधिक रसोई घर, 5,300 उद्योग और 7,100 व्यावसायिक प्रतिष्ठान जुड़ चुके हैं। इसके साथ यह 956 सीएनजी स्टेशनों के माध्यम से गैस-आधारित परिवहन को बढ़ावा दे रहा है, जो गैस आधारित अर्थव्यवस्था का एक मजबूत स्तंभ है।

आज दिल्ली में @IGLConnect के अत्याधुनिक नए कार्यालय का उद्घाटन करने का अवसर मिला।

यह केवल एक कार्यालय ही नहीं, Delhi-NCR व उससे बाहर एक स्वच्छ, हरित ऊर्जा भविष्य के प्रति #IGL की प्रतिबद्धता का प्रतीक है। यह हरित भविष्य की दिशा में नवाचार, प्रौद्योगिकी और सहयोग के केंद्र के रूप में भी कार्य करेगा।

बीते कुछ वर्षों में, IGL परिवहन और घरेलू/व्यावसायिक उपयोग, दोनों में गैस को एक स्वच्छ ऊर्जा विकल्प के रूप में बढ़ावा देने में अग्रणी साबित हुआ है।
यह कंपनी 30.7 लाख से अधिक घरों, 5,300 उद्योगों और 7,100 व्यावसायिक प्रतिष्ठानों को PNG के रूप में स्वच्छ ऊर्जा प्रदान करती है और परिवहन क्षेत्र के लिए 956 सीएनजी स्टेशनों का संचालन करती है, जो प्रतिदिन 22 लाख सीएनजी वाहनों को ईंधन प्रदान करते हैं।

शहर और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के बीच की दूरी कम करते हुए यह दिल्ली क्षेत्र के 252 गाँवों को PNG से जोड़ता है, जिससे शहरी क्षेत्रों के साथ-साथ ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में भी पाइप्ड गैस की सुविधा उपलब्ध हो रही है।

अब यह CBG प्लांट की दिशा में भी आगे बढ़ रहा है।

Very happy to inaugurate the state-of-the-art new office of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. a key player in the city gas distribution sector which supplies convenient and clean Piped Natural Gas to more than 30.7 lakh households, clean energy to 5,300 industries and 7,100 commercial establishments, and operates 956 CNG stations for the transport sector which refuel 22 lakh CNG vehicles daily.

In another notable achievement out of its total 31,73,212 domestic PNG connections, IGL has connected 14,89,088 connections in the last 4 years alone. It now connects 252 villages across NCT of Delhi taking the ease of piped gas to rural areas as well in addition to the urban areas.
IGL is also making significant forays into PM Sh @narendramodi Ji’s vision towards green energy transition.
It has entered into offtake arrangements with 37 CBG producers for about 230 TPD of CBG production. Offtake of ~ 26000scmd of CBG from 15 commissioned CBG plants out of these is already happening. IGL will also set up 10 CBG plants with cumulative capacity of ~95 TPD.

An ocean of energy opportunities opens up in the Andaman Sea!
Very happy to report the occurrence of natural gas in Sri Vijayapuram 2 well at a distance of 9.20 NM (17 km) from the shoreline on the east coast of the Andaman Islands at a water depth of 295 meters and target depth of 2650 meters.

Initial production testing of the well in the range of 2212 – 2250 meters has established the presence of natural gas with intermittent flaring. The gas samples were brought by ship to Kakinada, were tested and found to be 87% methane.

The size of the gas pool and commercial viability of the discovery will get verified in the coming months but establishing the presence of hydrocarbons in the Andaman basin is a major step in confirming our long held belief that Andaman basin is rich in natural gas, in line with discoveries in the entire area from Myanmar in North to Indonesia in the south in this belt.

Under the deepwater mission announced by Hon’ble PM @narendramodi Ji on Independence Day, large number of deepwater exploration wells are planned in our offshore basins in order to find new discoveries and fully exploit our hydrocarbon reserves.

This occurrence of natural gas will help us in taking forward our exploration ambitions in coordination with global deepwater exploration experts like @petrobras @bp_india @Shell @exxonmobil and will be a significant milestone in our journey through Amrit Kaal!

दुनिया में टैरिफ को लेकर संघर्ष का दौर चल रहा है और भविष्य को लेकर अनिश्चितता है। समस्याएं क्या हैं और उनसे बाहर कैसे निकला जाए, इसे लेकर चिंताएं हैं। भारत में भी बदलाव का दौर है और ऐसा पहली बार नहीं हो रहा है। मई 1998 का पोखरण परीक्षण, जिसके बाद भारत पर आर्थिक प्रतिबंध लगे। उस समय जितने भी सो-कॉल्ड इंटेलेक्चुअल थे, उन्होंने कहा कि इस सरकार ने भारत को बर्बादी की कगार पर ला दिया है।

क्यों? क्योंकि उस जमाने में न हमारे पास फिजिकल इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर था, न हमारे पास फाइनेंशियल इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर था और न ही कोई भारत में एक डॉलर निवेश करने को तैयार था। दो साल से भी कम समय में, मार्च 2000 में अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति बिल क्लिंटन 5 दिन की भारत यात्रा पर आए, आखिर ऐसा क्या बदला था उस दो साल के समय में?

जब उस दौर में हम उस स्थिति से निकलकर यह स्थान स्थापित कर सके, तो आज तो हमारी स्थिति में बहुत बड़ा अंतर है। क्योंकि हर चुनौती एक छुपी हुई नई संभावना भी लेकर आती है, और आपदा को अवसर में बदलने की कला तो हमारे प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी को आती है, और मैंने प्रमाण सहित बताया कि पहले भी हम यह दिखा चुके हैं।
अब आज के विश्व के परिदृश्य और उसमें भारत की संभावनाओं को जरा ध्यान से देखिए…..,,,,
