Good Morning. I’ve had this on my mind for a bit and wanted to share something about @quirkiesnft

As a full time trader, I’ve been in and out of for three years. I’ve usually held just one in the bag because @RealPapii has always been a homie.

In the past, I’ve made some big trades including Quirkie assets, but I usually ended up moving them one way or another for profit and dipped out. Dipped out back to buy more apes or the next shiny blue chip.

I always loved the project, but honestly, never saw it becoming a top 3 IP in the space, as I do today.

Why? Well, the main reason, Papi never had full control before his sole acquisition. Syn is a great dude but Papi is a machine unlike no other founder in the space. He’s always been the leader of Quirkies in my eyes, but once he got the keys, things changed.

I got hacked a few months ago for almost my whole bag. Lost all my Yuga assets, All my Quirks, GVCs, you name it. It was the worst day of my life, I was ready to finally exit the space after 4 years.

Papi and the Quirkie community weren’t going to let that happen. Nah. They put me on their back. Papi called me and spoke to me for hours about how I will come back stronger, helped me so much mentally.

Then came the community buying back an OG for me and sending me a ton of Lings.

It was humbling and it gave me an entire new perspective of what a being a part of a true community can do for your life. The love these people showed me was unfathomable.

Over the past few months I’ve spent all my time focusing on building my Quirk bag as a community holder, and not a flipper. I’ve focused my time trying to connect with the great holders we have, while also onboarding new and prior holders and showing them how powerful the community is.

It’s always been great; things are different this time though and you can feel it, you can see it, you can hear it. Papi has full control, and that is what has been the biggest change in the project. He calls the shots.

Comparison is in fact the thief of joy, but it feels like people are finally starting to notice Papi is one of if not the best active leader in the space.

Between the daily giveaways, him being on spaces and spreading brand awareness for 16+ hours daily, taking time to talk to every holder, and even non holders who want to hop in, he is the epitome of a leader.

If you’ve ever been on the fence about joining, I felt like this story was worth a read for you. If you want real family and insane energy daily with a high dose of positivity, this is the spot for you.

I could keep going, but this should at least get the point across.

We are built different. I’m in high profits on my bag now, months after my hack, which is incredible in itself, but that’s no longer important to me, my personal collection and the connections I make daily are what push me now. Not money or flipping and trying to perfectly time every top and bottom.

I’ll be buying Quirks no matter what the FP is, this is home, this is family.

There are six true 1of1 (no variations) in @quirkies universe, incl. this Snowquirk. Been wanting to finish my 3 piece set and finally pulled the trigger.

Thanks to @GBASSI for brokering and @RealPapii for lifting project to 1eth+ FP.

I identify this as Brady, the GOAT, as he often played in snow games and this item is GOAT of a 1of1. That’s why I chose 12.7eth, 12 for Brady’s jersey and 7 rings. Also rarity 14 is Brady’s 2014 starting to win last 4 rings every other year.

Like the two Q appearances and this is also one of few having background color not uni-tune.

I have been to Arctic recently, there is mention of Arctic in attribute. Had beautiful days for 6 days and an expedition-like day of snow storm when I rode snowmobile. My outfit is exactly like shown.

Recently there is also Winter Olympics, which also makes acquisition timing fitting.

There is also the legend of Yeti, which conveys the same feeling as this legendary piece.

The seller turned around to sweep the floor, keeping the fund within ecosystem and collectors initiated version of str. Very similar to the seller who sold me Brady Prizm GV 1/1 on #PaniniBlockchain who used the proceeds to buy a lot of packs to rip.

Little story time

At one point I had 200+ @quirkiesnft

Dozens of grails and a hundred bangers

Today I have a few dozen… less conviction you ask ?! Sell on the community ?! … not once

I am proud to say that I traded my grails to holders to take Quirkies off the floor

I am proud to say I have given away over 200 OGs that went to great holders along the way.

I am proud to say I sold all my “blue chip” NFTs including my Hoodie Punk to bet on Quirkies and myself.

There’s no founder more all in. Maybe same level, but more committed with their own capital. I don’t think so.

I’m 7 figures in…

No VCs. Just us.

No paycheck. Just passion.
