Many of our volunteers are contributing towards the @stjohnambulance Covid-19 response. We need the public's support to sustain this effort for communities across the country, including our own.
Some good news. Tom, one of our Bethnal Green volunteers, joined SJA as a Cadet & has been a dedicated volunteer throughout. This week, he finally starts his Paramedic journey with @Ldn_Ambulance.
Congratulations to Toby from Bethnal Green & Ola, Riccardo, Lizzie, Fatima & Victoria from Shadwell Unit on passing the COVID-19 course. So proud of these amazing people for volunteering to help all of our friends in the NHS #sja#mysjaday#NHSCovidHeroes#oneteam
Thank you for looking after our local community. St John volunteers from across the East End are stepping up to support the NHS at this important time.
Great to be able to support the #NHS at this time of crisis. Today Iโm out with @mxhm9 in @stjohnambulanceโs SR100 responding to 999 calls for @ldn_ambulance ๐
Hugely proud of Benita and Diane from Shadwell Unit and Steph from City of London Unit for being among the first of our volunteers to be trained to support our friends in the NHS. Training is complete and they will be working shifts in A&E from tomorrow ๐ฅณ
Great talk tonight at Shadwell Unit on intoxication. Big thank you to @PeterHollely for travelling all the way to East London and keeping us all entertained
We spent the morning paying our respects in Bethnal Green at a local #RemembranceSunday service to the many before us who served and sacrificed. We will remember them. #LestWeForget
Today our volunteers will be supporting #RemembranceSunday commemorations nationwide. We are proud to honour those who served or were lost in conflict, including 1,077 of our own men and women who lost their lives providing medical support to soldiers in action. #LestWeForget
We're pleased to have been able to support our local community at the annual @TowerHamletsNow Victoria Park fireworks tonight. Dozens of volunteers from across @SJALondon_South watched over the crowd. #teameastlondon
Another example of student volunteers doing themselves & SJA proud. This time, providing aid after encountering a patient in cardiac arrest. @QMUL_LINKS are a great group of student volunteers in our area.
MASSIVE congrats to Tarhan and our Unit Manager/President Natalia for winning highly commended in the Volunteer Hero category at the @stjohnambulance#EverydayHeroes2019 awards for their role in a cardiac arrest on the way home from a society social!!! ๐๐๐๐ #SuperProud
#StJohnsDay is an event that as an area we proudly come together to provide the First Aid and Medical Cover for those #StJohnPeople and supporters attending this amazing gathering. Thanks to @MJAdhen and team for delivering this for our area #mySJADay
Today was a special day for us all in St John. It's #stjohnday. We celebrated what's great about @stjohnambulance, the communities we serve, the amazing people who make up this fabulous charity & our strategic goal to build on our community roots. Check it out ๐๐พ
Weโre celebrating St Johnโs past, present and future in Londonโs iconic Paternoster Square. โSympathyโ (left) turns 90 this year while our modern-day ambulance (right), kindly donated by the Mark Master Masons, turns one. Our fleet has undergone such a transformation! #StJohnsDay
This #VolunteerWeek2019, we want to thank the many St John volunteers from across the City of London, Tower Hamlets & Hackney who offer up their time to give back to their local communities & the wider city. You're all fantastic!
Our Badger programme teaches children aged between 7-10 life saving skills, like how to perform CPR. Here our very own Badger, 9-year-old Harry, shows us how it's done. ๐

@HackneyOneTouch@hackneywick It's our pleasure. We're locals, helping our fellow locals, supported by the wider @stjohnambulance. Great to see our community in the sun & everyone having a good time but being close by if needed to help make a difference.
#ThanksaBillion to our amazing volunteers from our Hackney, Bethnal Green, Canary Wharf (Tower Hamlets) and City of London units who volunteered much of their time today as part of a large 1000+ @stjohnambulance team at #LondonMarathon
