@ColinBrazierTV@KonstantinKisin Here’s hoping that these are among the first academics that AI will sweep away. Now that AI avatars of the very best teaching professionals (in terms of exam outcomes, not ideologies) are available to almost all, why do we need these expensive, unproductive overheads?
@lewis_goodall 90%+ of students go to uni to get a good career start, but only maybe 20% of degrees enable that today (and maybe even fewer in the future). Unis need to be customer-driven, not just there to take loan money to pay academics with little regard to student outcomes.
@elonmusk Do you want proud nations that sometimes go to war, or subservient nations that surrender meekly? The EU chose the latter based on German guilt and France’s expertise.
@LBC@lewis_goodall@AasmahMir The problem is that you chose to go to Oxbridge rather than the University of Birmingham. Was that to collect your ‘elite badge’, or is U of B just not good?
@Labourheartland@KonstantinKisin Punishing everyone for the benefit of no one… except for a few administrative state elites in London (civil servants, lawyers, regulators, NGOs, etc..). It’s simply legalized corruption and the effective theft of taxes.
@NaomiSeibt@elonmusk Is the UK government (both Tory and Labour versions) or those acting under its direction (e.g. police, social care, prosecutors) guilty of a crime against humanity by way of dereliction of duty?
@TheNewsAgents@jonsopel@lewis_goodall People would be less likely to believe conspiracy theories if the MSM wasn’t so intent on censoring reasonable opinions that don’t align with establishment thinking. Arthur Scargill, Tony Benn, and Margaret Thatcher were not cancelled in their day.
@lewis_goodall When did we the people become we the State? Let the people speak, normal folks will know who the extremists are. And if someone you consider an extremist is popular, maybe you are the extremist.
