@srivatsayb I guess ppl rep count will be based on the no of ppl in the region. Why has some state more population it's a different story. The debate should be more on why increase the seats and make it worse than fish market, keep 545 constant and redistribute based on population

@VvvBb139491 @SanDiegoKnight Kool I hope they do that and regulate. You do know most of the Indians in US are impacted by moving jobs offshore. Lot of ppl have decided to take the same role in India but not everyone is willing to take that position bcoz of financial commitments in US .

Over 1700+ companies have offices in india with 1.5 million jobs. Target , lowes , CVS, AA, and T-Mobile, to name a few, are doing like 40US-60INDIA% job split & move operations.

@GregAbbott_TX Curious to see what are job roles, if it's professors and associates then I don't think this is smart movie. Teaching is a painful job that too at a university level. Last thing you want is an unqualified failed high school grad doing academic research or teaching college kids

Do yourself a favor and research on GCC market in India, you will be blown away by no of jobs sent offshore. A company like Lowes,tgt, has 4500 employees but with zero rev in India. 2500 such companies.

@Cloudwatch199 That 65K per year is not a problem and never been. It's those few thousands out of it who becomes CIOs/leaders and then starts the trouble. There are numerous examples as soon as an Indian leader comes in,first thing he does is ship jobs offshore or bring in his cronie partners.

@plzbepatient That will only push more jobs to India. As of April 2024 they had 7000 jobs in Verizon India. They don't have services in India, this is pattern with 2500 other companies it's called GCC market in India. You all are beating the wrong horse.

@EricLDaugh H1B jobs remain in US. The threat to US jobs is offshoring . For decades, it used to be outsoure to IT partners. Now its GCC, which is a 150 billion market in India. Lowes, who has 4500 employees,AA, CVS, and 2500 other companies set up office in India, there lies our problem.

Few CIO's who abuse and send jobs offshore.But research GCC in India and you will be shocked to see what's killing American jobs, 4.5 million projected with 2500 US companies moving their IT and research to India.

@EngineerChiefCE A ton of them its projected thag GCC will be a 150 billion industry in India with over 2500 companies from US setting direct offices not only elminating IT jobs in US but many other jobs. Its a tough road ahead.

@SanDiegoKnight Its going to get worse. CVS is next, Concophillips who is cutting down 30% of its workflows has offshored almost all IT jobs. There are many companies who have 0 presence outside NA doign this. Hope DJT and congress acts on this

@USTechWorkers GCC Boom is real, as some of who works in IT seen this happening at faster pace now, instead of outsourcing to Indian workforce companies , US non tech firms started setting offices in India, especially health care sector. They are close to $100 billion with 4.5 million jobs.
