The govt’s back-to-work order for @cupw is yet another misuse of Section 107, trampling workers’ Charter-protected rights. Collective bargaining works best when agreements are negotiated, not imposed.

CUPE members: Consider signing a letter to the CUPE National Executive Board in support of Fred Hahn. Fred was recently elected President to represent the interests of our members, and our members have a vested interest in ending the genocide in Gaza.

The Cass review is well on its way to achieving the same status as Andrew Wakefield's work on vaccines: roundly dissected, debunked and discredited by actual scientists and professionals in the field, but stubbornly refusing to die because too many people like what it says.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of our comrade and collaborator, Jane McAlevey. Her powerful legacy as a labour organizer and strategist leaves us with a lifetime of lessons to draw on in the class struggles to come. https://t.co/9eGb9EYeIG
Had a fantastic time at my first @MakeSocietySafe conference! Was also privileged to be awarded one of the Grant Harris and Marnie Rice poster awards alongside @SKWResearch. Photo credits to @KaileyRoche #ATSA2023
We were always confident in our win, despite the delays.
The unexpected part was the display of absolute dominance that I witnessed at the vote reveal today.
100% voting in favour is astounding. Congratulations to all SMU TAs!

I am so grateful to have had such an amazing supervisor and committee. Thanks to @stephens_skye, @DrPYates, and Dr. Patry for making the project the best it could be. And thank you to @Brandon__Sparks for being an incredible and fair external!
Doing a meta-analysis during a short master’s program was a lot of work.
It wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of Alia Ford, Jaylynn Skeete, and the amazing @DesireeLElchuk. Thanks for always being on my team ❤️
“But my point is this: the perpetual fear that women live under will not change unless the structures of evil, inequity, and pain that encourage violent misogyny do too. Punishment is not the same as justice. Surveillance is not the same as accountability.”
A completely new precedent for Canadian and international law: sex workers have their rights confirmed in court to enforce contracts and earn payment for their services. We are so proud of Brogan and our team at @PATHlegalca 💙 https://t.co/aauxCce6xq
Very grateful for the opportunity to have presented our research on Clare's Law and hear @paytmcphee present our project on the reentry process after a sexual conviction. Looking forward to @NACCJP@CPA_CrimJustice next year to hear more about the great research others are doing!
Every judge that's heard a challenge against these bans thus far have found the claims likely to succeed and the laws openly discriminatory. They were written by hateful amateurs and are being trounced in court by transgender professionals.
