The difference in corners before and after the changes are astonishing:

> Bellingham and Anderson had great distances in the 1st example and wouldn't have allowed Enzo's shot

However, a double sub happens on the 82nd minute:
> 3 Subs are now on
> England changed 6 positions at corners
> Kane gets a new role but does his previous job
> Anderson reacts correctly
> Bellingham can't do 2 jobs

An FA & Nation the size of England, with the available faciltiies, staff and quality of analysts should never have a situation where in a WC Semi-Final they lose their lead simply down to lack of responsibility.

Another interesting factor was Tuchel’s quote after the game saying you can play passive or active in any defensive system, back four or back five - and he made the point we were too passive

When you take into account how quickly we dropped deep and stopped defending actively after Gordon’s goal, then also how shifting to back five can reinforce that message’s subconsciously (even if it wasn’t the verbal message they were given) - it’s an interesting relationship between verbal instruction and actions to lead instruction
