A day after alleging that an “RSS-BJP” attack was orchestrated against her, AISA national president Neha Bora returned to Ranchi’s Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium on Saturday and joined the JSSC-JPSC Reform Manch stage, where students have been protesting alleged irregularities in state recruitment examinations.

When an Organiser Weekly reporter approached Bora for a comment, she refused to speak, saying, “You are spreading lies,” and asked the reporter to leave.

The exchange comes a day after Bora was targeted with ink during an AISA-led march towards the Jharkhand Assembly. Police detained a 26-year-old man identified as Amarnath Pandey after the incident. Slogans of “Jai Shri Ram” were raised at the spot, according to reports. Pandey was also quoted as telling PTI that he targeted Bora because of her support for jailed activist Umar Khalid.

Bora, however, alleged that the attack was carried out by “RSS-BJP goons” and said that around 20 other women were also targeted. “I wear this ink with pride,” she said, adding that attempts to shame protesters would not stop them from raising their demands. The BJP and ABVP have rejected the allegations, and there is no official confirmation of a link between the accused and either organisation.

Organiser Weekly is an English-language weekly published by Bharat Prakashan (Delhi) Ltd. The publication has longstanding institutional links with the RSS and is widely described as an RSS-linked publication; Organiser itself describes its publications as having a “Nationalist perspective”.

यह उपलब्धि केवल उत्तराखंड ही नहीं, बल्कि पूरे देश के लिए गर्व का विषय है। ऐसे स्वदेशी नवाचार भारत की वैज्ञानिक क्षमता, युवाओं की प्रतिभा और आत्मनिर्भर भविष्य की मजबूत नींव रखते हैं।
