Just in case the client-press and the Government were not aware, if you take away medicine from Disabled people, those with MH issues and the vulnerable they won't suddenly get them a job, they will probably die.

Note the deliberately hate-inducing speech in the announcement which will echo in people's heads in the form of microaggresions attacking the self and up hate crime.
"Anyone choosing to coast on the hard work of taxpayers will lose their benefits.” - Hunt
Disability Rights UK have issued a statement this afternoon, a response to the Chancellor Jeremy Hunts announcement on proposed benefit changes.
The dangerous language issued deserves a truthful response. Please share. #benefits#JeremyHunt

As a parent, I don’t believe I am to blame for all the barriers I’ve faced (and continue to face) trying to ensure the needs of my disabled child are fully acknowledged and adequately met by Staffordshire county council.
What a complete disgrace these are Staffordshire county council you really need to hang your heads in shame.
Parents are not to blame at all and it’s your arrogant attitudes and poorly informed opinions that make parents lives unbearable.
SHAME ON YOU!!!!
The disabled experience during this pandemic is realizing that some of the people closest to u really don’t care if u live or die as long as they are comfortable.
Some ableism is obvious, but I want to mention a few types of more casual ableism I see in sensitivity reads and published works that are harder to pick up on with an abled gaze. Many of these are likely unintentional, which is why it's good to have a SR in the first place.🧵
♿ Starting an ongoing thread for books I enjoy that include disability rep. I try to read #CripLit rep specifically by disabled authors. That info isn't always available though. But know that many of us are looking for it. Will update as able. QTing an old list to start. ♿
